Trip To Home...

Hey Friends!! How r u all? How's life treating u... Well sorry for so long absence on blogger side.. So many things were hapening in my life but i was feeling too lazy to write it :(( My mistake...

Chalo let me start with what happened recently..last week i went to home town.. first at my sasural then mayeka..;) It was a big n relaxing holidays.. Thou are journey was bit hectic.. we had 1 RAC seat n two person ( me n my hubby..) but some how because of nice family next to us..we atleast got a full berth..:) but it doesn't end here.. we had to get down at mathura and from ther had to take bus .. we found out there is no Taxi service in mathura.. then no delux busses also.... we travelled in normal Rajasthan roadways bus.. n as we were travelling thru old old Rajasthan Villages it reminded me of movie Swadesh.. its still same.. gals carrying water on ther head.. same small houses.. traditional dresses.. with face fully covered.. bus was fully crowded.. n most frustating part was people on the way wud stop the bus n ask where its going.. because they can't read the board.. we are not use to this.. it was a new experience for me.. so it made our 3 journey to 5 hour.. but finally we reached home..

Alwar is a small town surrounded by Arravalis Mountain.. these mountain are not like normal mountain.. they are just stone with no or less greenery.. so thou it look like hill station it was very very HOT!! So thou i had big shopping plans..u know rajisthani stuff always attracts me.. theu are colorful..n make ur house beautiful.. but coz of heat every plan got scrapped :( .. but still a good thing happened was - there was one of DK's distant cousions marriage.. It was for the first time after my marriage i attended any function.. wow!! i wored saree n full Jewellery n make up.. Hey i njoyed it..;)

Second good thing was we had a SAVAMANI at our house.. Savamani is lord hanumanji pooja.. its a big scale function in which lot of people are invited for lunch.. even my parents came... They cook traditional Dal batti n Churma for prasad.. We went to Pandupol temple which lies in middle of sarishka Wild life century..n that was the best part.. i was able to click some of good pics there .. check them out.. its a good place to go..

@ Kurukshetra.. people who have read Mahabharata must be knowing its historical importance.. this is my home town.. n man i tell u its developing fast.. to those who are my college frnds n have not gone ther for long..i tell u it has become lot more developed n beautiful...

We have got mall ther beautiful garden..good hotels..n a water park is too coming.. I n DK went to colege on 23rd April exactly 4 years after he proposed me ..had a wonderful time.. got a snap clicked.. ;)

So aren't we looking good.. Hey there is much more to update.. will be back soon...

Savamani -
What might people ask for...???
The unmarried people - God, let this be the last year I come to you single.
The married people - God, now I know why people called you the wise Hanuman!

Hey, what is my cousin doing on your car bonnet? :-)

@ Kurukshetra.. people who have read Mahabharata must be knowing its historical importance.. this is my home town..
Is that the historical importance?!!! (I am in a leg-pulling mood)

Snaps -
Very good

Snap with you two -
Knock on the wood!

Hi CHICA!!!!

Long time no hear from you! Now I see where you've been! But you can't neglect your blogworld buddies....We deserve some attention too...:(

How have you been? Well it looks like you've been doing good. Your pictures look great and you're so adorable!

So can you please explain to me the major historical relevance of your hometown? I'm american and thus our education, sadly, does not include history of India.

Anyhow, so you like the name AVIVA... So do I! I really like it but the problem is is that there is another singer out there with the same name however she is an opera singer.....which makes it different....I don't know we'll see what happens later on....

Ok, thanks for stopping by! Don't forget us Ok? Ok!

Bye!

Lisa

Travel from Mathura to Alwar seemed too harsh for u :) ..I guess u never been on some off highways route around Kurukshetra or u wud nt have find it amusing. All of india is nt Delhi and Hyd. I suppose u boarded one of the local buses which stop at every place along the route. There are some express buses as well on that route, though no AC deluxes.
And yes, about the Aravalis around Alwar , visit sometime after rains ..All dryness gets transformed to greenery ..
